Joana d’Arq was not born in a single lightning bolt of inspiration, but in a thousand glimmers gathered over a lifetime.
As a child, Joana strung tiny bead bracelets and painted fantastical worlds in the margins of her schoolbooks. She grew into architecture, learning the language of form, rhythm, shadow and light: but somewhere between the blueprints and deadlines, a quiet truth kept whispering: her heart belonged to beauty, story, and adornment.
In 2020, after a corporate burnout, she opened a small portal into that truth.
Joana d’Arq began as a creative refuge… a place to make enchanted little things with her hands. The world loved them. The orders grew. And too quickly, magic turned into machinery.
So the atelier closed… not in defeat, but in metamorphosis.
During this pause, Joana received her ADHD diagnosis: the missing spellbook explaining her lifelong hunger for variety, exploration, and making things with her whole soul. Instead of fighting it, she embraced it fully. She wandered through other crafts (yes, even conjuring feasts as a private chef), but the pull of jewelry — whimsical, history-soaked jewelry — only grew stronger.
And now, with a steadier foundation, clearer systems, and a heart brimming with purpose, Joana d’Arq returns. This time as a mature atelier, not a frantic workshop. This time with story, nature, myth, and womanhood woven into every piece!

Every jewel begins the same way: with Joana’s curiosity tugging her toward a material.
Could be a moonlike freshwater pearl, or a pressed flower from a morning frolic in the woods... a beetle-green bead that looks like an ancient treasure or even a motif found in a medieval manuscript: nothing is chosen lightly, in fact, everything is lovingly decided!
Materials come from small, ethical suppliers: as local as possible, always fair-trade, always vetted. No fast-fashion metals. No mystery alloys. No shortcuts.
Just treasures crafted with conscience and care.
